Final gig of the two today and I got the shakes yet again. Midway through the first song, adrenaline kicked in and, instead of giving me that buzz, it made my little legs shake instead. And, when you're the smallest saxophonist (at 5'5") with the biggest saxophone (which weighs in at 13-14 pounds or 6.5 kg according to Wikipedia. That's an eighth of my body weight!), shaking is not a good idea. Luckily, nobody noticed, and I continued to blast out like nobody's business.
And once I got off that stage, having owned all three songs, that buzz kicked in.
